I chose Bilingual education because I believe it is very important that we instill the importance of a bilingual education in our schools. I myself am a bilingual student and have seen various students struggle with the language barrier becuase they find it difficult to learn in english. By having bilingual education in our schools those students will not feel left out and will not struggle as much as they do because they will feel more welcome. But they will not be the only ones benefiting from bilingual education but other students will also in various aspects because they would be learning the importance of diversity and of being bilingual.

I give this video a 5/5 because it shows a teacher in an actual class setting working with students. It shows how engaged students are in spanish and figuring out what is being placed on the overhead. The teacher is not only teaching them different spanish words but also how to properly pronounce them in spanish and how to spell. I thought this video was excellent.
I give this video a 4/5 because it is demonstrating how effective placing a young student in a bilingual education curriculum. It states an excellent point because not only are they gaining a bilingual education but they are also experiencing a diversity of various cultures, it helps diversify their minds and appreciate different cultures.
I rate this video a 3/5 because it is a fun video to show younger students because it has good basic images that help kids learn the different words being said. I rated it a 3/5 because it wasn't awesome in my opinion but it was pretty entertaining that would work excellent with younger students.
I give this video a 5/5 because it has a lot of important facts that help support bilingual education and the importance of having our younger students learn different languages.By doing so the students have a higher chance of being successful.
I give this video a 2/5 Jorge Ramos is a news reporter and journalist from Mexico who is widely known in this case he is discussing bilingual education for early childhood education with President Obama. In here he states the disadvantages students face in early childhood development and how important it is for our children to get a good foundation of learning for our students.
I rate this video a 3/5 because it speaks of the history of bilingual education and how students used to be ignored before ASPIRA showed up and faught for latino youth in giving them a bilingual education so that they weren't left behind.
I give this video a 5/5 simply because it is a video on supporting bilingual education and I found this video inspiring and touched me emotionally because I am a bilingual individual my self and English is not my native language. an importantn quote i took from this video that touched me was " what would happen if you saw a robin and you heard a different song, if it was singing the song of a seagull? You would say Robin, that's not your language; thats not your song." (Mike Mitchell)
